For best results, scale all textures to POT ("power of two" size in each dimension), e.g. make sure the width and height of the image are one of these exact pixel sizes: 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024 or 2048. Non-power-of-two sizes, or sizes above 2048 in either dimension, or the use of highly detailed normal maps may impair performance. Each media item will appear onscreen. How does it appear? Movies and 3d object files appear onscreen immediately, using a Cut effect. Images default with an one-second Dissolve with some slight motion. But there are some other options to test and explore. In the Info palette's Behavior tab, choose how long they should be displayed, in seconds or, in the case of movies, number of repeating times. In the Projects List window, choose your project. Matches the timing of the Media Item's effect transition. For the apps installed from Mac’s App Store: From List View, select the items to be using Dissolve effects. Thanks for your help!
